Student Council

The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership skills by organizing and carrying out school activities and community service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body.

The student council advisor this year is  Ashley Gustafson and Britney Domoto

Principal's Advisory Committee (PAC)

Purpose: To bring student groups together to create a better understanding of and mutual respect for each other's perspectives and share ideas for increasing student achievement and the culture of the school. This student group meets a minimum of four times a  year and students involved should be willing to share ideas on how Oraze can continue to be an amazing place to learn!

Who is on the committee?
Upper grade students who represent a variety of student groups and Mrs. McAvoy

Human Relations Council (HRC)

Human Relations Council (HRC)

Our Human Relations Council (HRC) meets regularly to plan activities and events that promote positive inter-group relations and to help us learn about and celebrate our differences!

Mix It Up Day
Mix It Up Day happens throughout the year when students are encouraged to sit with other students who they don't normally hang out with and encourages them to get to know someone new!

Holidays Around the World
Classrooms each picked a different country and learned about the Holiday's celebrated there. Then, classes decorated their doors to match the Holiday and taught other's about the Holiday's from the country they picked.

Kindness Counts
Staff and students have been challenged to spread kindness like confetti on and off of our Bearcat Campus this year!
