Greetings Bearcat Families,
It is my pleasure and honor to introduce myself as the new incoming princi

pal of Oraze Elementary beginning in the 2022-23 school year. I am overjoyed and grateful to join the dynamic students, families, and educators that comprise the Oraze community. As a Clovis Unified student, my youth was filled with amazing teachers, coaches, and mentors who invested in my success and encouraged me when I made the decision to become an educator. I strive to give back to the Clovis Unified community and will invest in your children as they embark on their educational journey.
I have spent 22 years in education with experiences ranging from pre-school through high school. My background includes studies in Child Development and Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in reading. I enjoyed 10 years teaching at Jefferson Elementary and then served the Jefferson Community as the Guidance Instructional Specialist for 6 years. I most recently have been serving the Clovis High School community as the Learning Director in the Student Services and Mathematics Departments.
I have been married for 22 years to my wonderful husband Shawn, a Reyburn and Clovis East teacher. He is thrilled that I am joining the Wolf Pack family! We are blessed to have two amazing children that are both products of Clovis Unified. Our daughter, Abigail, is a current freshman nursing student at Fresno State and our son, Brody, will be a senior in high school next year.
It is my mission to serve and provide opportunities to every Oraze student so that they reach their goals, discover their passions, and find joy in their educational experience. I support a school culture of acceptance, belonging, caring, positivity, and academic excellence. I truly care that your child develops a love of learning that will propel them into making their dreams a reality. I look forward to partnering with you as we build strong relationships and connections in our Bearcat community. Together we will carry on the Oraze vision of "Building Champions for Life".
Oraze Students- I can' wait to meet you! I am looking forward to our fun learning adventure next year. Go Bearcats!
