Welcome to the 2021-2022 School Year!
At Oraze, our goal is to Build CHAMPIONS for Life and that statement perfectly describes the sense of community here on the Bearcat campus – our parents, staff, and students work together to make Oraze a high-performing academic school and a place where we reach, involve, and equip the entire Bearcat Community to be CHAMPIONS for LIFE!
In our assessment-centered society, the Oraze community believes that positive test scores will be the byproduct of a solid educational plan that is based on a strong moral foundation. Our goal is to develop young people that leave Oraze with the academic tools to be successful and have strong moral character that will enable them to make good choices for themselves and those around them. This year we will be introducing a new layer to the work we are already doing around Positive Behavior and character, by rolling out the Positivity Project where we will be able to provide further education on character, promote excellent citizenship and ensure that our Bearcats know the importance of everyone around us. We always emphasize that who we are, and what character we put forth matters.
We also believe that community outreach and involvement of our students will take us to a new level. We believe that taking care of the whole child in mind, body, and spirit will translate to a happier, healthier student who will excel both inside the classroom and out. We want to teach our students to be compassionate to others and that they can make a difference in the lives of those around them.
Last year our community and world faced unprecedented times, and our Bearcat community rallied together to make the year a success for our students. As we transition back to a more normal school-year this year, we are prepared and excited for what's to come!
Based on all that we have accomplished thus far, and all that we WILL achieve in the future, it is clear that the Oraze motto, “Building Champions for Life!” rings true in both principle and practice.
