Character and Social Emotional Education (SEL)
happen all year long through the Positivity Project, 2nd Step Curriculum, Mind
Up Curriculum and more.
Positivity Project: Daily, students learn about
the 24-character strengths that we all have inside of us! Our staff uses the Positivity
Project curriculum to instill these strengths into our students along with the
other people matter mindset!
Assemblies: We strive to provide positive assemblies throughout the year
that teach students the importance of good character, positive relationships,
being a good citizen, and inclusion!
2nd Step and Mind Up: Both of these curriculums are utilized
throughout the school year with students to help build social skills within students.
They are designed to increase children’s social skills and other protective factors.
